How to Use the CCAExpress Air Waybill

All shippers require the use of a CCAExpress Air Waybill (WB) which will be supplied to you free of charge through our company.

To attach a WB, peel off the back adhesive strip and affix the WB to your envelope, package, or box. The CCAExpress pick-up person will sign the WB and leave one copy for your records. The Waybill could be completed either in English or Chinese.

This instruction will lead you to learn how to fill in our WB correctly. Please kindly see the Appendix - Air Waybill Sample for your review.

1. SENDER/SHIPPER
In this box, the Sender/Shipper must print their full name, address, postal code and telephone number. It is important that the shipper includes their telephone number in case there are any questions or problems in delivering the shipment.

2. RECEIVER/CONSIGNEE
In this box, the Sender/Shipper must print the full name, address, postal code and telephone number of the Receiving party. Please note that CCAExpress cannot deliver to a Post Office Box. It is important that the shipper includes the Consignee's telephone number, department and attention to name, in case there are any questions or problems in delivering the shipment. In addition, if the Sender/Shipper completes this box in Chinese characters, it will be convenient for us to deliver the Shipment in China Mainland.

3. DESCRIPTION
The Sender/Shipper should fill in the description of contents within your shipment. International Non-documents require a Proforma Invoice in addition.

4. DECLARED VALUE
The Sender/Shipper places the declared value for your shipment. Declared value could be the actual or estimated value of your shipment. China Customs decide weather to add customs duties and taxes on the shipment regarding the value the Sender/Shipper declared.

5. TERMS OF PAYMENT
Check one corresponding box for billing required.
Prepaid - The Sender/Shipper pays all the shipping charges, including accessorial charges (additional CCAExpress service charges).

Package Shipping Instruction

The cost of transporting a shipment is determined not only by its weight but also by its size and the space it occupies in our transportation system.
At CCAExpress, the "Chargeable Weight" for a shipment is based on the greater of:
- The Actual Weight, as measured on a scale, or
- The Dimensional Weight, based on package size.

How to Determine the Chargeable Weight of a Shipment
- First, determine the Actual Weight of the shipment by weighing each package on a scale and rounding up to the next whole pound or kilogram. Combine the weight of each package in the shipment to determine the total Actual Weight for that shipment.
- Second, determine the Dimensional Weight of the shipment by measuring the size of each package:
In inches, to determine the Dimensional Weight in pounds, or
In centimetres, to determine the Dimensional Weight in kilograms.
Measure at the widest point if it is an uneven shape, and round off the measurements to the closest inch or centimetre. Then determine the Dimensional Weight of each package by completing the calculation below.

For measurements in inches
LxWxH/166 = Dimensional Weight in pounds

For measurement in centimetres
LxWxH/6000 = Dimensional Weight in kilograms
If you need to convert kilograms to pounds, multiply by 2.20465.
If you need to convert pounds to kilograms, divide by 2.20465.

- Finally, determine the Chargeable Weight by comparing the Total Actual Weight to the Total Dimensional Weight. The greater of the two will be the Chargeable Weight.
